I just want to say a huge thankyou to Andrea , Dave and her wonderful team . My husband Martin grew up in porthtowan and Mount Hawke so this felt so right having you look after him and us during the time leading up to the funeral . From the moment Andrea visited me at home to discuss the funeral , with such care , compassion and understanding , to the day of the funeral , I cannot fault anything . Andrea has such a soft kind approach , nothing was too much trouble , everything I wanted for Martin Andrea sorted . The actual day of the funeral was made so very special by the thought that was put in from Andrea and the team at Carlyons , the AA wanted to give Martin an outstanding send off and Andrea worked with them to make it seamless . So many attending the funeral said it was a perfect tribute to Martin and a beautiful service . Thankyou from

Well what can I say apart from an AMAZING Independent company that helped our family tremendously through the care of my son who passed away at 31 years of age to the funeral and aftercare.
Andrea you are amazing and I would recommend your company to everyone.  You deserve 5 stars and above if there was a button  for more.
The care and dignity of Scott and everything we had asked for was taken into consideration.

Andrea and Dave were professional, kind, and supportive, and guided mum and I through every step for which we were very grateful, and what we needed at such a difficult time. They went above and beyond from taking dad into their care, treating him with dignity and respect, and turning every wish for the funeral into reality, including the Land Rover Defender hearse, and the clay shooting display on the coffin. The funeral was so well organised and went so smoothly we could not have asked for anything more. Andrea and Dave did us and my dad proud. I have no hesitation in recommending Carlyon Funeral Directors to anyone, this is an amazing local and independent business, who treat people with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect. I can’t give high enough praise to Andrea and her team. Absolutely first class service.

From the first phone call, Carlyon’s took care of all aspects of the passing of my Dad with the utmost professionalism, care and consideration towards all of the family.
I was guided through the whole process with the greatest kindness and each detail of administration which became apparent was presented with solutions and choices stemming from a plethora of experience.

Andrea and Dave have been truly amazing, i trusted them 100% when caring for my dear husband. I felt comforted that he spent time there before his farewell celebrations, and nothing was too much for them to support myself and my family. They show so much care and compassion and i had no doubts about them supporting us with the best send off. We will be forever grateful that Carlyon Funeral directors were highly recommended to us when my Dad passed away. From our very first call, Andrea and Dave were professional, knowledgeable, warm and supportive. They took wonderful care of my Dad and also of myself and our family. It felt as though every aspect was considered and personal, from accepting our family dog into visits to accommodating any family requests and making much appreciated suggestions. Their communication was clear and compassionate, ever so respectful and thoughtful, their kindness made all the difference to us when we most needed it. From when Chris was picked up till the day of his funeral Andrea and Dave were amazing, caring and couldn’t do enough for us as a family. Always with the upmost respect. They allowed us to you Chris’ van to carry his body and arranged for a last lap of the banger race course. The flowers, they day went so well and was all about Chris. I’m sure he would have loved to have seen the amount of people who payed respect. The whole team were absolutely amazing. I cannot rate them enough.
